How Alyssa Armstrong Photography Uses the Glass Box

Alyssa Armstrong is a wedding photographer located in Ventura County, California and owner of Alyssa Armstrong Photography.

She uses the 5x5 glass photo boxes as gifts to her wedding clients. Here you will find a brief overview of her design inspiration and perspective on branding as it relates to her business.

What 3-4 main words would you use to describe your photography?

For my style, I would say: sincere, vibrant, and dramatic.

How do you use the glass box? If it is used as a gift, how do clients usually react?

I use the boxes to deliver the final products to my clients and I include a few square prints from Artifact Uprising as a gift. It's always such a wonderful surprise for them. Most photographers use wood boxes, which are all well and good but it's so important to me to stand out!

Do you have a favorite resource for design inspiration?

I love Pinterest, of course. But I also find a lot of inspiration in old movies and fashion magazines and retro concert posters.

Anything else you'd like to share in relation to branding or design?

Stand out above the crowd! Don't do what everyone else is doing and be true to yourself. You can't go wrong with that! Long live Photo Bomb Shop.
