Getting to tell stories for people celebrating one of the most special days of their lives (and getting to play with pretty decor items to help contribute to the narrative).
I bring an attention to detail that I don't see very often on a busy wedding day. I try to find elements that will elevate an image to the next level of greatness. I also consider my wedding day images "curated photojournalism" -- I love candid moments, but also understand that putting people into flattering poses and good light is crucial for making a successful image.
I LOVE to style details of a wedding day (bride and groom personal items, stationery, etc.) and I bring the brass 5x5" La Rousse box with me to every wedding as part of my styling kit. If the colors and vibe of the wedding day are compatible, I'll incorporate the box in some of these styled detail shots.
